Marc was born in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and moved to Canada at age 13. He joined the firm in 2012 and is an effective problem solver, an excellent communicator and a fearless advocate for personal injury victims. Marc says the best thing about working at Carranza LLP is that he gets to be part of a team of individuals who are committed to helping people.
Marc was elected Co-Chair of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association Law Clerk's Section in 2017. OTLA is an association of lawyers, paralegals, legal assistants, and law clerks who practice exclusively in the field of plaintiff personal injury. As chair he contributes to CLE Programming, assists with building useful reference material and helps develop and coordinate networking events to foster meaningful relationships amongst OTLA members.
He is the Chair of the Town of Ajax Diversity and Community Engagement Advisory Committee and the Carranza LLP Social Committee. He participates in various community fundraising initiatives, such as the Ontario Spinal Cord Injury Wheel Chair Relay, the Brain Association of Peel and Halton Annual Bowlathon, and the Ontario Employment and Education Research Centre Worker’s Bowl. During his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer, working-out, and taking road trips up north.
